“This website project derives from my Utter (2023), a mixed media installation, on view at Kunsthall Trondheim for 13 October 2023 till 28 January 2024. An ever-morphing self inserted with a pacifier learns to speak but can hardly utter a word. As artificial intelligence is implemented, a ball gag is slipped into the mouth of the self, silencing any screaming expressions into gentle submission. As AI alignment takes place, glitches occur, the self ejects the ball gag. From the deep throat of the self, streams of blank keycaps flow out, uttering in silence.”
